Miramichi Salmon Conservation Centre

The Miramichi Salmon Conservation Centre (MSCC) is the oldest operating Atlantic salmon hatchery in Canada.  The first buildings and ponds were constructed in 1873 and the MSCC has operated continuously since that time, growing both Atlantic salmon and speckled trout.  During the tour, the salmon’s life cycle will be explained as you view the various stages, from juvenile to adult, in tanks both indoors and out.
