Tabusintac Memorial Library and Museum

Established in 1978 to preserve the history of Tabusintac, the museum captures an extensive collection of historical artifacts used by our forefathers. The building, built in the early 1900’s from hand-hewn lumber and put together with pegs, was used as a Methodist church, a church hall, and then a rural high school.  In 1967 the Tabusintac Women’s Institute purchased the building for use as the community library.  The museum offers genealogical information on families from Tabusintac including the descendents of Charlotte Taylor the “Mother of Tabusintac”.
